Join us- all you need to know

Our 2017-2018 annual subscription is just; £45 for individual Membership £78 for Joint Membership for ten lectures each year. That's great value at less than £5 per lecture!

Our Season runs from 1st October until the end of September, (we don’t meet in July and August). Lectures are held at 8pm, on the second Wednesday of the month and last around an hour.

Tickets for all our special events and trips are sold at our lecture meetings.

The Arts Society Guildford Members receive a copy of the quarterly Arts magazine, the Arts Society ‘Review’ through the post, and can obtain discounts at certain local and National galleries and exhibitions.

Why not come along to an Arts Society Guildford lecture as a Visitor, for just £10 per lecture (refunded if you decide to join our Society on the evening) to discover what we do, or you may join The Arts Society Guildford on arrival for any of our lectures.

Full time students are welcome to visit at the reduced charge of £3 for as many lectures as they like- tickets available at the door only.

We pride ourselves that we are both warm and welcoming- do come along and see for yourself.

Membership

We currently have around 200 members, and no waiting list or joining fee.

Our Membership year runs from 1st October to September with an annual subscription fee of just:

£45 for Individual Membership or

£78 Joint Membership- for two people living at the same address.

This entitles you to: attend all 10 Arts Society Guildford lectures; join one of our Volunteering projects; book onto our other trips and events as well as having Membership of The Arts Society, the National Association.

 

As a Member you receive through the post, the high quality National journal, The Arts Society Review, every quarter, and can access the nationally organised study days and foreign travel, including tours and cruises led by experts in their fields - discounts for art galleries and much more.

If you join us mid-year (March onwards) there is a registration fee of £10 and a pro-rata amount is charged for your subscription.

Members' Guests

Members are encouraged to bring guests to lectures. This is a good introduction to the Society and Visitors are always warmly welcomed. Visitors pay just £10 per visit and are restricted to 3 visits in any one season.

Other Activities

There is also the opportunity for Members to become involved in our Church Recording, Heritage Volunteering and Young Arts projects.
